Teaser Tuesday --- I Should....

Hey, happy Tuesday everyone! Today I have several things floating around my mind. Most of them start off with "I should...." and then ramble on from there. I know. Should is part of that 'could've, would've, should've" trio of inaction and regret but my 'should's are more like:

"I should be cleaning house right now."

"I should be getting my butt in action with that HIIT workout I'm avoiding - it's only 20 minutes long."

"I should be outside doing more chores."

"I should go feed the chickens."

"I should...actually be doing something. Really. I should."

Instead, I'm sitting here, writing in my head every time I get the spare moment to disengage those pesky 'should's and even peskier chores and tasks. For instance, mentally I have written another chapter...And another short story... And I've solved every single problem in the world all at the same time (But I'm not telling anyone what that solution is as it's probably a best seller.🤔 You'll just have to wait and buy the book.) Then, to add to all my mental procrastination, I have a song stuck in my head. How it got there I'm not sure, but what is the best way to get a song out of your head?

My personal choice is giving in and putting the song on loop with my headphones on until it's novelty wears off. That can be both good and bad because if it's the world's most annoying song in the world, that can be problematic. But, if it's a good song, well, turn it up and sing out loud. This song though -- It's stuck in my head with its melody and then there's that same part of the chorus that goes over and over in my brain. After some carefully pondered hours of this song on repeat in my brain, I think what this song is telling me is that today I need to remind everyone of my first two books, my Cedar Grove series Along the Way and Wherever It Goes. We all need a little romance in our lives, some love that comes true, and a little partnership dancing.

So, today, I'm taking you back to my first few posts about Along the Way as well as my little video ad.

First, the video ad I had created for my Cedar Grove series:

Check out my previous posts about Along the Way here: Along the Way Beyond the Sample Teaser #1 (Oct 22, 2022) and the Along the Way author commentary (Nov. 1, 2022)

Oh, and what was that song I have stuck in my head? "Dance with Me," by Morgan Evans (featuring Kelsea Ballerini). Now it can get stuck in your head, too. 😉

Hope you have an amazing day and a wonderful rest of the week!
