The Allegheny Covers

If you haven't been faithfully checking out my Amazon or B&N online, you probably aren't aware that I've upgraded the covers for my physical books. Almost all of them. I haven't touched my short story collection, "Could've Been Something."  The front cover is the same, I've just wrapped the images to the spines and the back cover.

Now they will look really pretty on your shelves in between readings. Everything I do to my books is to improve upon them. To get the covers to represent the story within. Since I've been discussing my TAC series, this past week (because they are on a $0.99 cent promotion!)

TAC: Eden & the Alchemist. Since the ocean and the beach plays a role in Eden's story, I decided to go with the woman and the ocean. If you have been with me since the beginning, you'll recall that the first cover was of a woman looking out into the ocean. Admittedly, that one didn't sell much, this one portrays a wistfulness and a mystery with the fading image of the man in the waves.

TAC: Veil Falls. My original cover was a gate and a cattleguard with a backdrop of a ranch. But this  one shows a man walking toward a mountain. You may be able to see some darkness around the right hand edge of the front cover but that's in the bleed area and gets chopped off so you won't see that in the final copy.  The heavens look like they are pouring down onto the mountain. Of course, once you read the book, you'll see that a mountain does play a role in the story.

TAC: The Warrior Returns. The original cover illustration just with an image wrapped around it, the view out of a cave entrance. The man on the cover is walking away, obviously not someone from the modern times. The spine and back cover show the scene of a forested valley with a waterfall in the distance. There is much to ponder about that view. Is it the view from the cave opening of Warrior Mountain? Is it possibly the view from an alternate world that we haven't been introduced to? Is it the view of what the Earth Keepers and Spirit Walkers had from times passed? So many questions.

Which takes us now to the original cover for the newly released TAC: The Healer. Isn't it pretty?

You can find all of my printed books on at Amazon and at Barnes & Noble online.

I do have author copies of these books and covers on the way so I'll show you what they look like physically when they arrive this week!
