 Hey, Audiobook lovers! 

On May 26th, I published my very first audiobook on Audible using Virtual Voice, which means I have new opportunities to review and relaunch my books. Hooray!!! 

My Portrait of an Unlikely Affair series... Yes, that is a unique name. No, it's not about extramarital affairs. No, it's not a spicy romance book. Yes, it does have clean love story. Yes, it's got some drama. So what's it about?

OK, so, it's about Avonlea Stone, a celebrity, an actress, and a big deal, who is in her early twenties when we meet her. She's longing for something beyond what her every day life is so she she begins to date a man whom is 'beneath' her but in the same movie universe. He asks her to come home to meet his mother and she is dreaming of the potential romance. 

BUT, it's also about a military secret classified weapon in a soldier known primarily as 249. He is mysterious, feared, and considered a monster. Of course, he's not your average human and doesn't care for being around people. He avoids contact unless it is absolutely necessary. 249 was born as Brian Ridley and is the step-brother of the man who is bringing Avonlea home. And the day Avonlea is arriving is the same day Brian is also coming home. 

In  Portrait of an Unlikely Affair, book 1, you get to know the circumstances and thoughts of Avonlea and Brian. You are introduced to Tom Ridley, Maggie Hudson, Seth Jacobson, and Gentry Adams, as well as the other characters that will make up this world, this series.  Is it love at first sight? Is it ooey-gooey dripping romance? No to both, but it begins an adventure of improbable events that takes you into a six book series with a a general theme of things never being quite what they are presented to be, what we think they are... Or what other people tell us they are.

My second book, The Legend of CùSithGrim was published on Audible on June 02. This is the follow up to the cliff hanger ending for Portrait of an Unlikely Affair. In book two, you get to meet family. You learn about Brian's past and his drive for why he is wants what he wants. It gives you understanding and continues the love story as Avonlea brings out something in Brian that no one thought he was capable of -- being human.

And on June 8th, the third installment of this six book series was published on Audible. 

This book continues the story of Brian and Avonlea and puts Avonlea back in her world, and Brian completely out of his. In this one, you meet Dave Garton, the ex-fiancé who still wants Avonlea back. But it puts Brian back out in the field to complete the mission that is the culmination of his life's work. And it's something that will test their faith in each other. This is the halfway mark of the series.

Disclaimer: These three books *should* be free of the psychological generalization process where our brains automatically fill in the words and don't allow our eyes to see they're missing so these books will actually have those miniscule pesky words (such as to, a, and similar words) that have been annoyingly affected before with the F* Up Fairy and the Publishing Gremlins. Words *should* also be pronounced correctly as I have listened to each one and told it how to say them...Well...with the exception of a few stubborn words that no matter how much I corrected Virtual Voice, it still insisted on pronouncing them incorrectly.  I have worked very hard getting these to be "perfect" and hopefully this time they are. 

Eventually, all thirteen of my books will be available Audible. I am adding about one book a week, probably every two weeks as I get to the ones that are over 500 pages. I am more of a print book person and audiobooks make my eyes heavy, despite the content -- Editing them makes no difference. I go as long as I can keep my open and that determines how long I take.
