So, it's been a while!

Time is flying by waaaaaaayyyyyy too fast. There seems to not be enough hours in a day and days in a week any more. Know the feeling?

Well, as I am eagerly awaiting cooler weather and a return to standard time (This DST just kills me every year), I have been keeping busy.

First, if you have not heard yet, the third installment of The Allegheny Chronicles is set to be released on Friday, November 8th. The Warrior Returns is currently available for pre-order on Kindle at Amazon. It will be available in paperback and hardcover on the day of its release. I really like the cover on this one. It was AI generated but it's mysterious and conveys what you're going to be seeing in the book.

The back cover reads as follows:

Allegheny and its Ghost Team have a new mystery to solve -- One that includes their own past. When the Ghost Team welcomed Mason "Wraith" Beaudrie into its ranks, they knew he was powerful but they didn't realize he would be the one who would hold the answers they were looking for.

While it seems that Mason has a knack for attracting trouble and people who want him dead, the former marine and sheriff deputy is going through a personal upheaval. His grandfather's last words to him was that he foreseen Mason as the "Warrior," a legend that had been told around the campfire for generations by the elders. However, there seems to be a lot of mystery and misinformation from Mason's family when he looks for answers. What does being the "warrior" mean and is there any truth to the history of the clans? Why wasn't Mason told these stories when he was younger? As Mason attempts to put those questions behind him, his fiancée, Gia Bennington, has been whisked away by her mother's family after her own traumatic kidnapping ordeal. Everyone is telling Mason to be patient and give her space, and Mason has no choice -- After all, he is looking to take down his former commanding officer and get justice for his own team that had been left behind to die in Operation Dragon Fire and he doesn't want Gia to be in any further danger.

While the Alchemist and the Reaper were looking to develop the skills of the Ghost Team's trainee, they are instead swept into an ancient mystery which includes a not-so-new enemy that is hellbent on their destruction. They have met this enemy on the battlefield many times and are now putting together the pieces as to who this enemy is and how they can gain victory against them. Not one of them can win this war alone and it will take a united Ghost Team with the weight of Allegheny behind them to do it.

It will be a race to discover the past and reunite the clans so together they can vanquish the enemy that walks among them.

It's going to be a good one. I've already read it four times and will be making a 5th read of it as soon as I get my hands on my 2nd proof copy today.

Otherwise, I'm just trying to write and keep my head above water. That's all you can do these days because a lot of people are in similar boats. But I have faith in the future and all of this hard work during the hard days will pay off in the future.

Thank you to those of you who have been rating my books. I appreciate all of you. If you have read my books but haven't rated or reviewed my books and wonder why you should do so, check this out here. I'm the first to acknowledge that not all books are for everyone and that my books won't resonate with everyone out there yet I still appreciate the feedback. It's been difficult getting word out for my books, especially with the algorithms working against me, but every little step forward is still a step forward. It really makes me have some philosophical wonderings about the algorithm of life -- Do algorithms move beyond computers and internet? If math explains life then are algorithms an uncontrollable part of life? Is that why sometimes no matter what you do and how hard you try, something just won't take off? Or does it explain why sometimes something's just move so effortlessly along? I don't know. It's just a lot to thing about and wonder about.

All of my books are available in ebook, paperback, and hardcover at Amazon, barnesandnoble.com, Apple Books, Kobo, Lulu, and many other locations. Please visit my website: www.TheAuthorEmBrooks.com for more information on all of my writing. Thank you for your support, I appreciate all of you!
