Four Days!!!

We are four days out from the release of The Allegheny Chronicles: Veil Falls! The anticipation is building! I decided to give it a new cover for it's publishing. I've been staring at the covers for quite sometime and decided to go bold. So, looking at The Allegheny Chronicles: Eden & the Alchemist, I decided to go with the light play that you see on it's cover. If you look below, I'm taking the specks of starlight from the first book, and putting them into the sky as stars on the new addition.

Below is the close up. You'll also see that there's a lone man in the bottom of the new cover, looking across a desolate valley toward a distant mountain.

I've been doing more contemplating about my books and which category they belong in. For whatever reason, Amazon doesn't give you options for other fiction genres. It's rather frustrating to me. I'd rather just classify my books as fiction/action & adventure because while they do contain romance and relationship situations, they don't contain typical "romance" books. So I've been looking at other books and their covers. Check out best sellers in my category of romance. What do you see? A whole lot of shirtless men on the covers.

While I did play around with shirtless men on the cover for Veil Falls.... (of course I'll show you those)

But I know that within the pages of the book, there isn't smut that will satisfy the readers who only read books to get a fix on sultry smutty contemporary romance. If the cover is supposed to represent what is inside the book, then I decided a few of them could use some revamping. So this is what I came up with...

For book 2, The Legend of CùSithGrim...

And for book 3, The Ghost of Oscar....

And for book 5, Project Broken Glass...

And book 6, The Disruption of Forever got a Font-Lift....

I feel that they do better show the overall theme of each book and I do hope that you enjoy them. I don't anticipate changing them again. I feel the Portrait series is pretty spot on now and I feel that the covers are more bold, less subtle. Now, let's see how readers like them.

And there you have it. Until next time, keep reading to stay sane during this upcoming holiday season!!! And remember, if you enjoyed my books, your reading friends will too! Books make excellent gifts!
