What can I say about the second book in the Portrait of an Unlikely Affair series? It is the origin story of Brian Ridley, mixed in with his "present day" life. Of course, in considering who Brian is, you have to know the ones he is closest too, and that is his family. I can't give a lot away about this book, this plot line, but it picks up where Portrait of an Unlikely Affair left off and takes you deeper into the adventure. You just have to find out what happens next. 

This book was released on Amazon on September 30, 2022. I had been a published author for 10 days at that time. I could have waited to release the novels over several years but they were finished and I was excited to get them out to you because I just couldn't leave you hanging like that (I like mysteries but I also like to complete things.) I think those of you who have powered through them in this last year were appreciative that I didn't make you wait. 

Since I am not going to say much more than that -- those who have read it can tell us what they liked about this leg of the adventure. Maybe even start a discussion.
