Sales, Apple, and More!!

 Happy Friday!!!

We are in for a hot weekend ahead and I am not looking forward to it. Some folks love the heat, but I am not some folks. But that's okay. I've got a solution to make the heat more bearable.

READING!!!!

WooHoo! Currently I have FOUR books enrolled in Kindle Unlimited. They are: Along the Way, Wherever It Goes, The Allegheny Chronicles: Eden and the Alchemist, and The Legend of CùSithGrim. Because they are enrolled in Kindle Unlimited (KU), in their eBook form, they have to exclusively be sold on Amazon during their enrollment. Sucks for sales on other platforms but those who have KU go through books like crazy. This is also the first time I have offered book 2 in my series on KU. But what if you don't have KU? I discovered I can run something called "Kindle Countdown Deal" during their 90-day enrollment. So I did just that.

From JULY 13 through July 20th, you can getAlong the Way, Wherever It Goes, The Allegheny Chronicles: Eden and the Alchemist, and The Legend of CùSithGrim for $1.99. That is half off! If I were you and were waiting to read them, I'd definitely take advantage of this.

Now, if you're not a fan of eBooks, well, you can still purchase the paperback and hardcover versions on Amazon and the paperback version at www.barnesandnoble.com. Speaking of www.barnesandnoble.com, you can also request my books to be carried in your favorite brick and mortar Barnes and Noble. Even if you've read my books already, you can still go in there and start asking.

This month, I am working on giving back so I went ahead and donated three of my books to my local library. Along the Way, Wherever It Goes, and Could've Been Something will have their hardcover versions gracing the library shelves for folks to check out. Of course, the cataloging process takes time but I'll keep checking to update on its progress. If you'd like to have my books carried at your library, make sure you talk to your local library and then keep asking for it. Locally too, I have put a few copies of Portrait of an Unlikely Affair and The Allegheny Chronicles: Eden and the Alchemist into the local little free libraries where I live. I did make a note in the front of them, so hopefully those will be read, enjoyed and passed back into the free library system.

I am also working on getting my eBooks onto Apple Books. This only came about because of a comment on a shared post. I'm not an avid Apple user, though I am writing this on an old iMac, but I am slowing learning more and more about them because I'd like to venture into audiobooks and Apple has an app called GarageBand that can be used to record audiobooks. Unfortunately, my iMac is too old to support that app so, I'm looking into other avenues.

To review so far:

  • Four books are enrolled in Kindle Unlimited through September 10, 2023. They are free to all who are subscribed to Kindle Unlimited.
  • From July 13 to July 20, those same four eBooks are on sale for $1.99 each!
  • All ten of my books are always available in paperback or hardcover at Amazon and Barnesandnoble.com.
  • I have donated three of my books to my local library but you can always ask to have your local library purchase them. You can also ask your local Barnes & Noble to carry my physical books in your local brick and mortar store!!
  • Coming Soon -- My eBooks to the Apple Store (of course, the ones enrolled in KU will have to wait until September 10 to be uploaded)! I am beginning with Portrait of an Unlikely Affair and Could've Been Something. They will be priced as the same as all of the other places -- $3.99 for now. I'm trying to keep the pricing low so people can afford to read them!
Now that I've summed it up, I will tease you in letting you know I am working on THREE more novels for you! Two will be part of The Allegheny Chronicles series and the third will be a stand alone novel dealing with history, ghosts, and hauntings. I'm so excited about all three of them and can't wait to get them out to you. One at a time, of course.

Thank you for hanging out with me today. I really appreciate it! If you've read my books, and haven't done so already, please go ahead and leave a rating or review on them from the site you purchased them from. Ratings and reviews really help self-published authors become visible to other readers and the site algorithms pick up on the activity and recommend them to other readers.
