Monday Musings: Thank you
This weekend I learned that there is so much more to learn. Too often we get hyper focused on certain things in our life that we don't really consider anything else. After all, one of my favorite energy healing teachers/gurus (What? You don't have a favorite energy healing guru? LOL) Carol Tuttle said, "What we focus on, we create more of."
So, while I was focused on putting all of my efforts on just two markets, a simple random comment from someone on a shared post of my work, gave me an ah-ha moment. You see, I've never been an Apple or iPod or iAnything person. They've always been far too expensive to be stuck with a certain amount of un-expandable memory and I'm not really into apps. My only personal experience with anything Apple has been a hand-me-down iMac that was over a decade old that my daughter's cat knocked off the desk and broke (and then my children sat on the floor with a screw driver and dissected it before we threw it away.) It did get replaced by another hand-me-down iMac that is also a decade old now. The point is, I'm not familiar nor did I have any desire to be familiar with the apps or the Apple lifestyle...Until that comment. I honestly didn't know they had a book app. But, it's an avenue I have to look at as just last week, I was learning that authors can create their own audiobooks using another free app that comes on iPads and iMacs (except not on mine, because it's too old.😣)
The point of this all is, because of that random interaction, I am excited to tell you that I am now going through the verification processes and the hoops to bring my books to yet another market for those of you who are strictly readers of books on your iPads. It's a learning curve, experience, and they do offer a lot of different options so, while my goal is to get my books out to as many people as I can, in as many formats as I can.
It's a process and I am learning. So thank you to those random interactions -- You have no idea how much I learn from you!
Right now, my eBooks are on Kindle and Nook. You don't have to go buy either device as you can download the apps of those onto your phones, tablets, iPads, iPhones, and all that. You just need to have an Amazon or Barnesandnoble.com account.
Speaking of which, if you've read this far, I have some great news for you in the form of UPDATES!!!
For those on AMAZON -- I have four books available on Kindle Unlimited (They will be up there until September since I can only sell my eBooks exclusively on Amazon while they are enrolled with Kindle Unlimited). But if you don't have Kindle Unlimited, for one week only, July 13-20th, I will have Along the Way and The Allegheny Chronicles: Eden & the Alchemist eBooks on sale for 51% off to purchase (That's $1.99! All of my eBooks are $3.99 each.)
For those on barnesandnoble.com -- Portrait of an Unlikely Affair, the first book and namesake to the series, is now available as an eBook!! I had to wait for its enrollment on Kindle Unlimited to end before I could put it onto other seller's sites.
