Should you put all of your eggs in one basket?

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend. I realize I didn't post anything on Friday, as I normally would but, I must admit, I got distracted. You see, we were hosting Easter so I knew I had to do a heavier cleaning than normal, starting days early but not stressing over getting it perfectly done because, you know, we live here. While I'd LOVE to have a Pottery Barn house, with Pottery Barn kids, I know it is totally unrealistic. (I saw a wood sign the other day that read, "My housekeeping style is best described as 'There appears to have been a struggle.'" 😂 Now if that doesn't describe living with busy and imaginative kids...)

Anyhow, back to the story, I recalled I had some essential oils that would help me focus and get the job done without distractions. The blend I chose was called "Magnify Your Purpose" because my purpose was obviously cleaning the house. I put it on, and immediately set to work.......Writing.

It happens.

Friday I stuck my nose to the grindstone, avoided eye contact with the computers, pens, papers, and notebooks, and cracked the whip, getting the house in order. However, I had just finished mopping my floors when the dog and the cat came trotting in from outside, leaving muddy paw prints all over my nicely mopped floors (It had rained Thursday and Friday morning). 🐾

So, enough about that -- let's get into my writing. 

I am appreciating all of you out there who are making your way through the series. A series is a commitment, one that you are either sad about when the series ends, or happy because you know that the series ends and you don't have to impatiently await the next novel. As of writing this, I am THREE sales away from from my first 100 units sold!!!! I am greatly humbled and appreciative of this. You guys are AWESOME!!!! 

I have more exciting news, though!

Beginning today, I am working on getting all nine of my books published now on Barnes and Noble Press (so you can buy them through Barnes and Noble, too) because, hey, never stick your eggs all in one basket these days, right?  So today I will begin the process and I will be sharing those with you. The only "issue" at the moment is I will not be able to upload any of my Kindle Unlimited offered books on Barnes and Noble just yet because that's how that Kindle Unlimited program works -- an author cannot have the ebooks enrolled in Kindle Unlimited available for sale in ebook form any where else. SO....Paperbacks first, then ebooks. I'll post all of the information as I get it!
