Beyond the Sample! -- A Little Bit of Order
Welcome back! Thank you for joining me. I am very appreciative of my readers!!
So far we have been going through the contents of my next project, Could've Been Something - A collection of short stories, musings, and writing. I anticipate this to be out to your hands by this summer. In previous posts, I have discussed four of these that will be included in the book: "Steam Cleaned Society", "Morgue", "Bob", and "The Invisible Bastard." If you missed those discussion, by all means, head back, scroll down, and read them. There are at least five more stories (so far) that will be included, but today I'd like to go back and look at my prior books, specifically my Portrait of an Unlikely Affair series. I've been getting great feedback from people who have read all six of those novels (and the 7th support book, The Allegheny Chronicles: Eden and the Alchemist.)
The books are all available for purchase on Kindle and in paperback at www.amazon.com/author/embrooks.
I've been asked to provide the order for books so that they can be purchased and read in order, so we'll knock that out of the way first (Screenshot this, print it out, memorize it.):
The Portrait of an Unlikely Affair series
BOOK 1 -- Portrait of an Unlikely Affair
BOOK 2 -- The Legend of CuSithGrim
BOOK 5 -- Project Broken Glass
BOOK 6 -- The Disruption of Forever
The unofficial Book 7 is The Allegheny Chronicles: Eden and The Alchemist. This is a stand-alone novel that can be read at ANY time. You can read it first, you can read it last. You can read it in between the other novels. You can read it first, read the series, then reread it again. The possibilities are endless! Have fun with it.
The series is interesting because the first three books (The Portrait of an Unlikely Affair, The Legend of CuSithGrim, and The Ghost of Oscar ) takes place over a span of nearly two years. Embers to Ashes ties in the first three books as the 'past' before it takes you twenty years into their future. Project Broken Glass and The Disruption of Forever then take place over the next year of their time. It has everything in it -- Romance, military, sci-fi, drama, legend, all of the impossible, and every bit of the improbable.
Since folks enjoy reading reviews other people have written here's one such review. I really appreciated seeing this!! (ππ€πππππππ₯°) They really make an author's day!
My DEBUT series is the Cedar Grove Series. These are completely different from the Portrait series and were released FIRST because I wasn't sure I was going to ever be sharing my Portrait series with anyone. My Cedar Grove series seemed like it would be much more tamed and more accepted than my Portrait series.
Book 1 -- Along the Way
Book 2 -- Wherever It Goes
Need a visual summary of which books go in what order? No problem.
So there you have it! I hope this helps!
