Your Morning Tidbit -- Is it Possible to have a favorite?
HAPPY FRIDAY! I hope you had an amazing week! So many things to do and so little time to do them, but that's ok, they'll all get done. Since I got the series finale released for Portrait of an Unlikely Affair series, I decided to reread the series as a reader. In paperback. I must say I am thoroughly enjoying it, seeing how the story unfolds, even though I know the end now. It's amazing how it still grabs me and I just want to spend all day reading.
Eating, eh. Just refill my hot cup of tea.
Chores, bah. Chores are ALWAYS there.
Sleep, eh. I'm a mom. I'm used to not sleeping.
Just give me my book and I'll talk to you when I'm finished.
*Sigh* Sure, in a perfect life. LOL. I manage to squeeze in a few hours at night.
So, I've finished reading book 1, Portrait of an Unlikely Affair. Had to jump directly into book 2, The Legend of CuSithGrim. And of course, that just flew by so now I'm halfway into book 3, The Ghost of Oscar. I'm extremely happy to have the book both in paperback and on kindle. That way when it approaches bed time, and I don't want to stop reading, I just grab my kindle, open it to where I was in the paperback, and then read with Dark Mode until my eyes can't stay open any more.
I also just finished reading The Allegheny Chronicles: Eden and The Alchemist while concurrently reading the first two books (I read the first 2 books in paperback, and the Chronicles on kindle.) I must say, when I finished the Chronicles, I was wondering where it was going and then the end happens and I just grinned foolishly to myself in the dark and gave an evil genius giggle and then frowned, "Damn, that was a great story. I want more of it."
Someone better tell that Em Brooks author to get busy coming up with more Allegheny Chronicles!!
Then it got me thinking -- Do I have a favorite book of mine? One that if the house was burning down and I could only rescue one book of mine, which would it be? Well, I mean, if there was only one copy of it in the whole world. Honestly, I couldn't answer that. So far, I am loving all of my novels. Each one has its own amazing qualities. I suppose it's because they are. my creations and I'm the "parent." It's like having a favorite child or grandchild, right? Can't do it.
So, I ask you: Do you. have a favorite Em Brooks book so far? If so, which one? What do you love or enjoy about it? Let me know in a comment below.
On that note, I'll let you get on with your day. If you have any questions or comments at all, by all means, let me know! I'm not scary (well, at least I don't think I am 🤔) and I will respond to you (writers do love to write.) If you enjoy reading these little blurbs, enjoy reading my novels, or just enjoy life, be sure to share those thoughts with your friends. If they like to read, I just may have some books for them to enjoy. Also, thank you for letting me know what you think in your reviews on Amazon!!😍
Thanks for stopping by and hanging out with me today. Hope you enjoy the rest of your day and have a great weekend!!💕
