 Some authors know exactly where their novels are going to go. They have a plan and successfully stick to it, knowing what to write, when to write, and what information they need to write the novel.

I don't write that way.

There is never a plan.

I am often just as surprised as my readers about the way a story goes, how many volumes it takes, and the twists and turns of the novel.

And the characters just happen. It's like throwing a party and seeing who turns up.

I am Em Brooks, the author of fiction and mysteries. My first three books Along the Way, Wherever It Goes, and Portrait of an Unlikely Affair are available now on Amazon Kindle. There are five more books set to be published as well.
